A Foodie's Dream Wedding at the Umstead

THE VISION

When a foodie influencer gets married at a five-star resort known for their dining and hospitality, there is certainly not going to be any shortage of delectable bites at the wedding! Beck (@beckeatsworld) and Jack opted for a colorful, summer affair at The Umstead, complete with real peach accents and nods to Beck's passion for food.

The wedding was centered around a comfortable, yet refined celebration, full of personal elements that reflected the couple and their story. It was a summer soirée with an emphasis on delicious food, ambient lighting, and casual elegance.

THE DETAILS

We combined pattern play with lush florals and colorful specialty seating to produce an event that leaned into the bold colors of the season and provided a well-rounded guest experience, full of thoughtful details at every turn.

A colorful stationery suite set the tone for the weekend.

We created a seating chart display of escort cards tucked hand blown Mexican glassware that were turned into vases for bold summer blooms.

We used the pattern from their envelope liner to create a backdrop for their aquamarine(!) cake and specialty croissant table.
