Olivia and Tyler’s wedding at The Historic Wakefield Barn in Raleigh, North Carolina was a celebration filled with timeless romance and personal touches. Set against the charm of the barn’s rustic architecture, their day unfolded in a rich dusty blue and maroon palette accented with blush and autumnal tones, perfectly complementing the November season. The design featured lush florals with tree-inspired details, antiqued hydrangeas, and deep red foliage, creating a moody yet elegant atmosphere that highlighted the natural beauty of fall in North Carolina.

It was a wedding that perfectly reflected who they are as a couple - rooted in tradition, full of personality, and surrounded by love.

THE DETAILS

Every detail of Olivia and Tyler’s Wakefield Barn wedding balanced sophistication with heartfelt storytelling.

The layering of seasonal florals, soft dusty blue textures, and bold maroon accents created an inviting, editorial look, while the personalized baseball-inspired elements brought joy and authenticity.

The interactive seating chart, styled as a vintage “will call” counter where guests retrieved ticketed envelopes to find their seats—an homage to the groom’s love of the Phillies and a fun nod to the couple’s personality.

The baseball theme carried through to personalized touches like a custom wedding logo featuring Liberty Bells turned into wedding bells, and Cracker Jack favors that blended whimsy with nostalgia.

Leaf-shaped place cards doubled as entrée identifiers, each silhouette corresponding to a guest’s meal choice. The organic shapes beautifully tied into die-cut oak tree table numbers, a thoughtful nod to Raleigh’s nickname, the City of Oaks.
